General Estate Planning (Newly Added Class)
Instructor: William Westerbeke, JD
In this basics class, you will learn about estate planning documents such as powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, wills and living trusts. You will also find out about probate, death taxes, and options for passing on your wealth to your loved ones. Several informative examples will be used to illustrate these concepts.

Intermediate Excel 2010

In this higher level of Excel, we will be working with managing your workbooks, including: margins, page layout, headers/footers, etc. You will also learn how to work with large worksheets by freezing panes, repeating row at top of each page and utilizing the shrink to fit option. Discover how to save time by automating repetitive tasks by creating and using macros. You will also learn: to utilize Excel to analyze data, how to enhance your charts, and to link data between worksheets.

Backing Up Your Computer

If the hard drive in your computer failed today, (which does happen) would you lose all your documents, emails, and pictures? You can be prepared for computer disasters such as hard drive failures or damage to your operating system. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to plan and perform a backup strategy. You will learn about backup software, how to use media such as DVD, USB drives, or external drives, and about the option of online backup. Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge.

In three hands-on sessions, you will learn how to register for this service, start, and maintain your own website. Do It Yourself Computer Repairs or Upgrades

Are you hesitant about opening up your computer or laptop and working on it? In this three-hour class you will gain hands-on experience and the confidence you need to open your computer to clean the dust out, add memory, or install new components such as hard drives, power supplies, or expansion cards. There will also be some instruction on working on laptops. You will have time to practice on a computer and can even bring your own computer to work on. Digital Photography
Instructor: Bill Tucker
The class, limited to 10 people, will start at the basic level and include using camera in manual mode learning exposure, shutter speed, aperture & depth of field. If weather permits, you will be able to shoot outdoors & gain experience in taking portraits, action and scenic photos. Some class time will be addressed to your individual concerns. Prerequisite: Some experience using a digital camera & having a digital SLR camera (interchangeable lens) by the 2nd class.
