LAKESHORE HS & MS ATHLETES/PHYSICALS

Wednesday June 5, 2013 from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

You must have a Sports Physical on file with the Athletic Office before you can participate in any practices next season.

 

The Lakeshore Athletic Department in conjunction with Southwest Medical Clinic will be hosting sports physicals at Lakeshore High School in the LGI room on Wednesday June 5, 2013 from 2:30pm – 4:30pm for $25.00 (Checks payable to Lakeshore Athletics).

Purdue Wrestling Camp hosted at Lakeshore High School

Lakeshore High School will be hosting the Purdue Wrestling Camp June 18,19,20 from 9:AM to 2:30PM (Lunch 11-11:30). The cost is $75. or $25. per day if you can't make all 3 days. Registration will be from 8-9:AM, June 18th.

Lakeshore Band to Perform in Normandy, France

Our Lakeshore Lancer Marching Band has been invited by the “D-Day 70th Anniversary Commemoration” and “American Musical Salute” Committees to join as an official representative of Michigan in Normandy, France in June of 2014. More Information in the April Edition of the Lakeshore Light

THE RETURN OF THE LAKESHORE BAND STUDENT WORK PROGRAM

To offset the cost of the upcoming trip to France in June 2014, Lakeshore Lancer band students will be offering their services in the areas of babysitting, house cleaning, yard work, window washing, tutoring, music lessons, and other exciting possibilities. For a reasonable fee you will be able to accomplish a goal while supporting the band! Announces Scholarship Opportunities

One $500.00 scholarship is awarded to a Lakeshore High School senior to assist with college expenses. There are selection criteria involving grades, community service, activities, and an essay describing college plans. The applications are due to the high school guidance office by May 1, 2012. Applications are available in the high school guidance office. The school guidance counselor or Sandra Blough, LEA Vice President, may answer any questions concerning these scholarship opportunities.
