All 6 th , 7 th , and 8 th graders will participate in four career sessions presented by very willing and enthusiastic community members. The LMS PTO plans and facilitates this muchanticipated event along with middle school staff. If you would like to offer your assistance for Career Day, please call Mrs. Blough at 428-1408 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
High School Planning
Believe it or not, it’s almost time for the Class of ’16 to begin planning for high school and beyond! In late January or early February, Mrs. Weaver will meet with 8 th graders to review the Lakeshore High School Career Pathways Program. The students will then complete an indepth career exploration research project in their English classes, participate in Career Day, and update their online EDP’S – all prior to scheduling for high school.
Lakeshore High School will communicate directly with the 8 th graders and their parents about scheduling meetings. Watch for these upcoming announcements!

Success Through Accepting Responsibility
It is important that families and schools work together to help students achieve a quality education. The linked form below lists essential roles and responsibilities that we, as partners, need to carry out to support our children’s success in school and in life. Together, with your assistance, we can all look forward to a successful year! We would appreciate it if you would take time to review this with your child. Please sign and return this sheet to your child’s Advisory Teacher.
