Summer Learning Opportunities

This year, we will provide Summer Learning opportunities for all our students! This program can be accessed through our website or directly at : The focus of the Summer Learning program is primarily Reading and Math. The site also has links to many classroom websites as well. Check it out! Using technology over the summer months is a great way to keep your children involved in thinking and learning.

5th Grade–Last Day of School June 5th– noon Parents are invited to take pictures of their 5th graders on the last day of school OUTSIDE (east side) ON THE LAWN NEAR THE OFFICE DOORS. The 5th graders will be allowed to exit the office doors for this purpose ONLY. Parents are NOT to come indoors to take the pictures.

Lost and Found/ Medications Don’t forget to check out the Lost and Found when you’re in the building. Lost and Found is located in the 2nd & 4th grade foyer hallway. All items left at school after June 5th will be donated to a charitable organization. Also, all medication in the school office must be picked up by June 5th. This includes all epi pens and inhalers. After that date any medication will be safely disposed.

IMPORTANT!! Parents with Kindergarten students for next school year - If you have a child entering Kindergarten in the fall this is the time to get them registered!! If you have not registered them yet, please stop in the office to pick up a registration packet or call the office and we will send a registration packet home with your older child. In order for us to plan the correct number of sections of Kindergarten, it is very important for us to have an accurate number of students entering.

Summer Enrollment Changes Please notify us this summer if your plans change regarding enrollment in Lakeshore schools for next year. Please call our central office at 428-1400. Please remember that to attend Lakeshore Schools, you must either live in the Lakeshore district or have been accepted to Schools of Choice.

From the Art Teacher Please send a square brown paper bag to school next week with your child. Ms. Anderson will gladly accept extra bags you can donate.

Summer Activities There are a number of flyers in the literature rack outside the office regarding summer activities for children. Many of the registration forms are available on the Lakeshore website. Please check them out!
