Welcome! This is my fifth year as Lakeshore Middle School's the secondary resource room county program teacher.
I was born and raised in St. Joseph, Michigan and graduated from SJHS in 2010. After spending my K-12 education in the rival district of Lakeshore, I never thought I would be a Lancer someday! :) After graduating high school, I went on to study at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. I graduated from Hope College in May of 2014 with a degree in special education.
I am currently pursuing my master's degree in special education at Central Michigan University. Since I was in elementary school, I have wanted to be a teacher. I loved my teachers and I loved learning. My goal is to give my own students the same amazing experience I had in my K-12 education. I hope to bring my passions into the classroom and inspire students to explore their own passions. I am looking forward to a great year full of learning and new experiences.
