SHOW YOUR HEART! SHARE YOUR STORY!
Lakeshore wants to share your stories about how our educators have shown support and dedication to our students! We are looking for stories about all education personnel – teachers, bus drivers, school lunch staff, paraprofessionals, custodians, coaches, librarians, administrative assistants and anyone who is an important part of a student’s educational success. Through these stories, we can show educators that they are appreciated and supported by our community.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
To share your story about a Lakeshore educator that has made a lasting impact on a student, please SUBMIT YOUR STORY.
All stories will be evaluated by the campaign team to ensure they meet campaign standards. More information may be requested if your story is selected for publication. Photo releases must be on file for story participants.
ABOUT LEARN BY HEART
Area public school leaders are celebrating the hard work and dedication of educators throughout Berrien County through a new initiative called the “Learn by Heart” campaign. The Learn by Heart campaign is designed to increase the awareness of the tireless efforts of Berrien County’s educators through the art of storytelling.
HOW IT WILL WORK
Lakeshore will share those special interactions that illustrate the difference educators in our district make in the lives of those whom they serve – students. Stories will be shared on social media, in our publications and through our local media outlets.
The Learn by Heart campaign is an opportunity for community members, parents, businesses and elected leaders to reflect on all that our education staff have done, during a pandemic and throughout their careers, to help students succeed.
The Learn by Heart campaign is part of a countywide initiative in partnership with Berrien RESA. Through the end of the school year, school districts across Berrien County will be celebrating their school staff as part of the project. It is our hope that this activity will become a part of our community’s culture – celebrating and appreciating our school personnel today and every day!
