Today we just want to take a moment to thank all of our amazing substitute teachers here at Lakeshore Public Schools. You jump in whenever and wherever we need you, and you do it with patience, flexibility, and a great attitude.
You truly are beyond wonderful, and we’re so grateful for everything you do for our students and staff.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!

Our wonderful food service crew did it again and provided a delicious meal for our staff and students. We are so grateful for all they do to make this tradition special every year!

With more people reaching out to shelters and rescues to surrender their pets, our amazing NHS students have partnered with Friends of Berrien County Animal Services to make a difference!
Together, they’ve donated and repackaged pet food into small bags for local food pantries, helping families keep their pets during these challenging times. So far, they’ve provided:
1,250 lbs of dog food
900 lbs of cat food
600 cans of cat food
That’s a total of 2,150 lbs of food going to pets in need!
The response from the pantries has been incredible, and we’re excited to keep this effort going. Huge thanks to our NHS kids and Friends of BCAS for supporting pets and families in our community

Your dedication and leadership make a real difference for our students and community. Thank you for all that you do!

Last week, some of our 7th graders and Lakeshore High School Key Club students took part in United Way of Southwest Michigan’s Rake a Difference Day. They spent the afternoon helping local seniors with their fall clean-up and filled plenty of leaf bags along the way.
This annual event is a great way for students to give back and support seniors who may need an extra hand. We’re proud of their hard work and the positive impact they made in our community!
